Sarah Hyland Accuses Fans of Assaulting
Sarah Hyland fled a celebration in Australia because an admirer allegedly groped her.
The 'Modern Family' star, who is currently shooting a special vacation episode of the show in the city, left a bash, hosted by Qantas at The Sebel Pier One in Sydney, in floods of tears on Tuesday night (eighteen.02.14), when accusing the fan of grabbing her breast while soliciting for a photograph together with her.
The brunette beauty, who plays Haley Dunphy in the comedy series, pushed the person way and screamed, 'Do not touch me there,' before security intervened and police were known as to the scene.
A spokesperson for the New South Wales Police Department told the MailOnline website: ''A man is helping police with investigations following an alleged indecent assault of a woman yesterday. It is alleged the person indecently assaulted the 23-year-old girl near Hickson Road, The Rocks, at regarding 7.50pm.
''A twenty nine-year-recent man was arrested. Police are continuing their investigations.''
Shortly after the incident, the twenty three-year-old actress wrote on Twitter: ''Sorry to any or all the fans outside the #qantas event that I didn't get to mention hi to however I had to leave because of an inappropriate touch of an exponent.''
Her boyfriend Matt Prokop, who attended the party together with her, also tweeted: ''To the a**hole who assaulted Sarah tonight I hope to God you do not see next week.
