David Beckham needs to rent an apartment in Miami.

The retired sportsman is launching a Major League Soccer (MLS) team in Florida, however he is not keen on buying a property as his wife Victoria and their children - Brooklyn, fourteen, Romeo eleven, Cruz, eight, and Harper, 2 - will be splitting their time between New York and London.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: ''She [Victoria] has not been down here [Miami] with him in months.

''She's concentrating on her fashion business in London and New York.''

Meanwhile, the thirty eight-year-previous hunk had been eyeing a twelve-acre site in Port Miami to create a twenty five,000-40,000 seat stadium for his new soccer team.
