Jamie-Lynn Sigler says motherhood is 'a test'


Jamie-Lynn Sigler says motherhood is more ''difficult'' than she expected but loves spending as much time with her seven-month-old son Beau Kyle as possible.


Jamie-Lynn Sigler says motherhood is more ''troublesome'' than she expected.

The former 'Sopranos' star, who contains a seven-month-old son, Beau Kyle, loves being a parent but admits it's ''exhausting.''

The thirty two-year-previous actress told PEOPLE.com: ''It's really exhausting -- it is a take a look at on every level. The amount of affection is unbelievable, but it's difficult.

''You do not get a ton of sleep, it's exhausting, you have to be on 24/seven, [and] you have got to breathe through. It's amazing that a very little issue can cause that a lot of frustration generally.

''(You feel) like you deserve a medal every day. You feel like you ought to get props after you walk out of the house [and] you're just alive and respiration.''

However the 'Guys with Kids' actress tries to spend as much time as attainable along with her little boy.

She said: ''I'm with him every single day, all day thus [I'm] watching each little milestone. He is beginning to crawl which is fun, and he's very into Mommy, reaching on behalf of me and asking for me.''

Jamie credits her fiancé Cutter Dykstra for helping her to adapt to her new lifestyle.

She said: ''Dad's wonderful - he's playing baseball thus he is on the road [and] we have a tendency to're doing a very little long distance, but he's a extremely good dad. [He's] very hands on and it's pretty sexy to work out a bloke with a baby.''
