Nikki Reed has been linked to Derek Hough.

The Twilight actress announced her separation from husband Paul McDonald in March.

It’s now been claimed she hooked up with the Dancing With The Stars pro during a night out together, with the pair apparently spotted making out at Rock & Reilly’s bar in Los Angeles last week.

“The whole group was drinking and partying. Derek bought shots for Nikki at the bar,” a source told Us Weekly. “There was lots of PDA, Nikki was feeding, holding hands, and they left together. They didn’t seem to care if anyone was watching.”

Nikki and Derek have supposedly been spending a lot of time together. The Hollywood beauty was recently spotted supporting her rumoured new beau backstage at the ABC dancing competition show.

“She’s such a sweet girl! Really down to earth,” the source said. “They are having fun hanging out. It’s a good match.”

Despite spending time together, the source insists the pair are not serious about their relationship. A second insider Nikki and Derek are just “having fun”.

“Nikki isn’t currently dating anyone. She is focused on her divorce and caring for that relationship as her latest film projects,” the source explained. “Nikki and [Derek’s sister] Julianne are good friends, and she has hung out with Derek a few times through her. They’re having fun but it’s nothing serious.”

Nikki previously spoke about how she tried to balance her career and marriage. She insisted that both parties worked hard on their relationship while on a job.

"It's important to communicate and stay on the same page," she explained to People last October. "With what we do for a living, it's important we make each other know they come first."
