John Legend and Chrissy Teigen had to delay their wedding.

The couple married in September last year by Lake Como in Italy, but their huge day didn't go in step with plan as they were forced to keep at bay their nuptials by four hours because of bad weather.

The 'All of Me' singer's family were held up in Ohio once their flight was cancelled because of a storm, but luckily their jet-setting guests - together with Kanye West, Quincy Jones and Stevie Marvel - managed to kill time with alcoholic beverages.

Chrissy said: ''They had cocktails for four hours!''

This wasn't the only set back the loved-up combine, who got engaged in 2011 when four years of dating, had to deal with though, as they were originally set to tie the knot on a Southern farm before changing their minds and deciding to wed in Lombardy instead.

Chrissy, who got married during a Vera Wang robe, virtually wore cowboy boots along with her beautiful dress before realising that Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels suited her higher.

She told the spring 2014 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine: ''For a minute I was like, 'I'm visiting wear cowboy boots with my dress!' Then I realised, that's simply not me.''
