The 42-year-recent actor shrunk to 137 lbs. once dropping more than 60 lbs. for his recent role in the upcoming film 'The Gambler,' leaving him nearly unrecognisable, however is almost back to his snug weight.

The 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' star told PEOPLE.com at CinemaCon in Las Vegas: ''It's a ton easier to put it on than it is to lose it.''

Mark often bulks up and slims down for acting roles, however seeks recommendation from experts to form positive he's doing everything as healthily as possible.

He explained: ''It's just half of the duty. I make positive I take all the correct steps, take all the right nutrition, all the proper exercise, being monitored by doctors. I'm making an attempt to try and do it in the safest means doable.''

The actor, who previously admitted he craved donuts and cut out bread, pasta and wine while on his strict diet, remains attempting to gain additional weight.
