Korean star Kim Soo Hyun shot to fame along with his role as alien Do Min Joon in well-liked drama You Who Came from the Stars, dazzling feminine fans  the world. However, the boyish actor has recently been accused of going beneath the knife to take care of his appearance, said Taiwanese media.

Netizens have speculated that the 26-year-recent Soo Hyun had surgery to boost his looks, and Taiwanese plastic surgeon Qiu Zheng Hong agreed with the rumours.

Dr Qiu explained that Asians typically have flatter faces, however Koreans like a lot of angular and thin faces, and Asian noses are also sometimes flatter - at most as high as superstars Takeshi Kaneshiro and Andy Lau’s - however Korean stars are a lot of partial to the additional outlined noses that Caucasians possess.

He said frankly, “Do Min Joon’s face is plastic! He should have had Botox shots and a bit of plastic surgery, I bet his nose is plastic too!” The surgeon even added, “Just like how nearly all the members of Super Junior have had their noses done.”

In response to his remarks, several netizens left comments berating Dr Qiu for being a busybody, demanding to know “what’s wrong with improving one thing that’s not smart”. However, some netizens have also joked at Soo Hyun’s expense, leaving snarky remarks like “take care your child doesn’t flip out to be an alien”.
