Sarah Michelle Gellar too old for Buffy movie


Sarah Michelle Gellar says she is too old to star in a movie spin-off of her classic TV show 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and worries she wouldn't be able to pull off the stunts.

Sarah Michelle Gellar thinks she's too old to star in an exceedingly 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' movie.

The 36-year-recent actress, who played teen heroine Buffy Summers in the sci-fi TV series between 1997 and 2003, does not foresee her classic TV show spawning a movie spin-off like 'Veronica Mars' as she worries she wouldn't be in a position to drag off the daring martial arts stunts now she's older.

She said: ''I'm a very little recent now. I feel like Buffy would have a picket stake walker. I'm almost sure how that may work.''

'The Crazy Ones' star also admits she has her reservations regarding a big-screen adaptation of the series as 'Buffy' originally started off as a critically panned, camp 1992 horror movie starring Kristy Swanson.

Sarah explained to 'Access Hollywood': '''Buffy' was [already] a movie. See, I assume folks forget that. 'Buffy' was a movie 1st, and I don't understand if you guys grasp this, however it didn't extremely work!

''I see you laughing at me over there, but it reasonably did not work. We spent our whole initial year or two apologising for the movie. Therefore, I assume it would be an incredibly completely different pressure.''

Since putting her iconic vampire slaying character behind her, Sarah has taken on a replacement role in life, mother to 2 tots - Charlotte, four, and eighteen-month-old Rocky - along with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
